You will see the in depth details on other food vendors participating, the details on the music, etc. below.

Without water, life as we know it would not exist. From 7-8PM, as we overlook Charleston Harbor, we will toast to clean water with champagne provided by La Bubbly.

Without clean water, New Belgium Brewing would not be able to make great tasting beer.  We’re proud to announce that New Belgium Brewing is this year’s beer sponsor and plans to unveil a fun, new product at the Water Ball (here’s a hint: we’ve set a goal of 100% waste diversion through recycling, composting, or cleaning…)

Ice Box has once again designed this year’s specialty cocktail and will be tending bar throughout the evening.

Here in the Lowcountry, life seems to revolve around two basic elements – water and food (seafood to be exact). For this year’s Water Ball, we’ve teamed up with a handful of local chefs, restaurants, and purveyors to highlight the important connection between the quality of Charleston’s waterways and the quality of the seafood on our plates. Enjoy food from this year’s Water Ball food partners.

The Water Ball highlights the balance between the serious nature of our work and the creative energy of our approach.  As a result, the Water Ball’s “Charleston Formal” dress code reflects this philosophy.   Water Ball host and style expert K. Cooper Ray helps clarify this year’s Water Ball attire with a blog post on Social Primer.

After Party…

FISH Restaurant will host the official Water Ball after party this year.  Join mixologist Evan Powell as he prepares Waterkeeper inspired cocktails for all to enjoy.  The after party will begin immediately following the end of the Water Ball.
